Foil Screen Printing in Vietnam
Foil screen printing in Vietnam works well with cotton and polyester fabrics with or without spandex. Nylon is a water-proof sportswear fabric that also looks nice with foil screen printing. First, printers add plastisol adhesive on fabric and cure it. (Note that foil leafs do not stick to water based ink.) Then they place the foil with the colored side up over the direct print. Next they use a heat press machine to press the foil onto fabric for 12 seconds. After that, they take the fabric out and cool the print. Finally, they peel the foil. The basic foil colors that are used in foil screen printing in Vietnam are silver and bronze. However, Vietnamese printing companies can provide you a wide range of colors like blue, green, purple and red.
Foil screen printing production cost is more expensive than discharge or cracking screen printing. One downside to foil screen printing in Vietnam is printing fine detail. Curing temperature is 80 to 160 degree Celsius. Its heat resistance is lower than 120 degree Celsius. Thus you cannot iron it directly because the foil will melt. To extend your foil printing clothing, you can wash the garment inside out with cold water and hang it to dry.
In summary, foil screen printing in Vietnam is vey easy to do. First step is adding adhesive onto the fabric and curing it. Second step is placing the foil sheet on fabric and peeling it. If you want to buy foil for foil screen printing, check out this Screen Printing website. It is an effective way to emphasize your garment designs with sunlight reflections and a smooth realistic metallic look.

There are two ways to do glitter and shimmer screen printing.
